American Honda Collection

In 1959, a small but ambitious Japanese motorcycle company with big dreams decided to expand overseas. They selected America, the center of the world's economy, as their first market. Founded just 11 years earlier in Hamamatsu, Japan, Honda knew that to succeed in America was to succeed worldwide. Those early days in LA on West Pico Boulevard were tough but before long, they were able to revolutionize the US motorcycle market. The next big step came in 1970, when Honda expanded into automobiles. And they were just getting started. Today with engineering and manufacturing facilities in the US and across the world, Honda produces everything from lawnmowers to private jets. This collection celebrates Honda in America and pays homage to its humble, spirited beginnings.
