1986 F1® Championship Collection

This collection is a modern interpretation of the uniforms worn by Honda engineers during the 1986 Formula 1 season. For 1986, Honda delivered the mighty RA 166E turbo V6, an engine that won 9 out of 16 races and produced more than 1000 hp in qualifying trim. The power and reliability of the RA 166E, combined with the advanced FW11 chassis, delivered Honda and their Grove-based partners the 1986 Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship. It would be the first of many F1 world championships for Honda power unit technology.
