In the 1980s, Honda engines were the gold standard in grand prix racing. By 1989, with a new, naturally aspirated V10 and 2 of the greatest drivers of all time, Honda engines were on the verge claiming their fourth consecutive team championship and third consecutive drivers championship.
Our bold, red 1989 Grand Prix Championship Collection pays homage to the very uniforms worn by Honda engineers during the 1989 championship winning season.

We charge flat rate shipping based on weight: < 1 lb. is $5.95, > 1 lb. is $9.95. We ship most orders via the US Postal Service from New Jersey, USA. We primarily use USPS ground or First Class mail. We do however ship some items UPS Ground.
All items ordered are IN STOCK unless otherwise specified. Orders are typically shipped within 2 business days.
We offer Two-Day and Overnight shipping
Two-day (for orders placed by 12 pm CST)
Overnight (for orders placed by 12 pm CST)

- Orders are processed Monday-Friday (excluding holidays).
- Two-Day and Overnight orders placed after the cutoff time are processed and shipped the next business day.

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
We provide refunds for the full product purchase price up to 30 days after the original purchase date. Exchanges are accepted up to 60 days after the original purchase date. Refunds are credited back to the original method of payment.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the item(s) must be in “as-new” condition, unworn, unwashed and with all the original tags in place. A 25% restocking fee may be applied if the returned item is excessively wrinkled and/or we deem the condition to be less than “as-new”.
The customer bears the cost of freight for returns and exchanges. We do not issue return labels.
EXCHANGE/REFUND INSTRUCTIONS
As long as the item remains in “as-new” condition, with original tags in place, all you need to do for a refund or exchange is to ship your item to:

All clearance items are FINAL SALE. Clearance items are not eligible for exchange or refund.
DEFECTS & INCORRECT SHIPMENTS
For defective merchandise and incorrect shipments, we provide return shipping labels. Defects must be reported before items are worn, washed or tags have been removed to receive full credit. Please contact jessica@hondavintageculture.com if you have received a defective or an incorrect item.

Once your return is received, please allow 5-10 business days for processing refunds and in-stock exchanges. In the event a requested item is unavailable, you will be notified.
Refunds typically appear on your statement 7-10 business days after the refund is initiated. Shipping charges are not refundable.
For orders that are lost or stolen in transit, please contact the carrier (typically USPS or UPS). We are not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.

Honda Vintage Culture hasn’t disappointed me once with the quality of their gear. My only complaint is that the cuffs are a bit big, but otherwise this jacket is perfect.

I am very impressed I just got it today and I had to leave a review and I don't typical leave reviews I just let the already good reviews speak for the product, but I had to jump in, too. It's not just for show It's a real legit winter jacket. Everything is functional and practical. I am definitely getting the gray Acura one and they're nice enough to give out codes to save some money! The measurements are accurate. I recommend to go over the measurements to get an idea for yourself. So, only downside that I can think of is QC, so if you buy one and when you get it check over it to make sure it's to your liking. I hope to see clothing for summer and fall of 2025! I am definitely a crewneck and jacket person though.

Fire asf🔥, quality well worth the price
This jacket is great. I ordered it for my boyfriend for Christmas, so he hasn't seen it yet, but I know he will love it. Also if you're wondering if the 3X is big enough, yes it is, don't worry. Unfortunately when it arrived there were threads pulled lose from the embroidery & stitching. I worry a bit if it could unravel more. I just knew with the holidays it may be difficult to remedy/replace in time so I did my best to careful cut them off. Overall still a great jacket just sad to see these imperfections on a gift for the price.

Fits right and feels great. Size medium definitely didn’t disappoint but opened up a new perspective on jacket wear for me. When you have your jacket you’ll know the feeling. Honda type R fl5 jackets please! In boost blue style Black , red and of course hero white. Just a thought for a new trend too add to the collection put that vintage style on the new 🌪️
The measurements are very accurate and the comfort level is off the charts, it’s now my favorite jacket with its high quality material and design. Even though it’s very res it doesn’t bleed into the white stitching when washed. Worth every penny.

One of the buttons immediately broke off which is the only issue I have but I’m waiting on a response from customer service and I’m sure it will get sorted out! I actually ordered this from a targeted ad on Facebook as a gift for my dad for Christmas. I took a chance, because I never know if what I pay for is what I get. I am very impressed with the overall quality, the fabric feels heavy weight and not just some cheap reproduction. The on difference I noticed was the sale images that I purchased from showed chromed buttons, and the actual jacket I received had raw brass. The actual buttons and their finish look very nice and well stamped, so this is not a complaint or in my eyes a fault, but I felt like I should mention it as part of my review. Overall, I am very pleased with the jacket and will happily give it to my dad for Christmas.

Great looking and great fitting jacket. High quality as you would expect from Honda. I am 5'9" tall and 145lbs. The small gits perfect over a shirt. The sleeves could be a tad bit longer, but a medium would have been too large everywhere else.

I have the entire 1989 F1 grand prix collection from Vintage Culture (wasn't cheap) but It is worth it for the quality & niche products that have to be designed. For die hard Honda (& F1) fans like myself Vintage Culture Is a God send. I would like to thank the team & please keep it up. This jacket in particular is beefier then the other one, does a good job at keeping me warm. Perfect for fall nights.
